- Detailed Fuel Tank Inspection Procedures
You may choose to attend either one or both of these two training options.
During the first day, the NGV Driver and Mechanic Safety Training teaches the elements involved in the safe driving and safe fueling of NGVs. You will also learn the safety features of NGV fuel storage and delivery system. So, whether you are a driver or mechanic of NGVs or whether you are a trainer for these employees, you will come away having learned all this information. Everyone will receive a manual and trainers will also receive a CD with all the tools and materials needed to conduct this training. The CD includes all the training materials as delivered, the PowerPoint presentation used by the instructor and a file to create Certificates of Completion for the staff that later receives this training back at your company.
On the second and third day, the NGV Fuel Storage Cylinder Inspection Safety Training provides you with the proper techniques for inspecting on-board compressed natural gas fuel storage cylinders. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) requires that all on-board vehicle compressed natural gas fuel storage cylinders, manufactured after March 1995, be visually inspected every three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. This course will insure that you meet the NHTSA requirement. You will learn the proper methods to use to insure vehicle fuel storage safety and integrity. The training will include hands-on inspection of vehicle fuel cylinders. Upon completion, you will be trained and prepared to conduct cylinder inspections of your organization's NGVs. On the last day of this training, you will be offered the chance to take a certification exam.
Throughout the course, you will get your pressing vehicle safety questions answered and benefit fully from state-of-the-art presentations and discussions.
